Big performance weekend for GCHS music at All-State and in competition. Congrats to Orchestra, Band, and Chorus. Also to Winter Guard, 1st place overall, 1st in class and Winter Percussion, 7th in class, with razor thin margins separating 3rd – 7th.

Connecting for a healthy community. GCMS 8th grader Kaylee Holderman and nurse Michele Vincent manned a booth at last weekend’s Health Fair to spread awareness of vaping. They also demonstrated how to make a tourniquet in an emergency to quickly “Stop the Bleed." Another great example of how #WeAreGCconnectED
