What do you get when you combine math, reading, and an epic historical display?! If you’re Clarkson Elementary, you get a packed house! It was an evening filled with entertainment, education, and fun as Clarkson families joined in for Literacy and Math Night, complete with the 5th grade Wax Museum - always a favorite!
Reading resources, strategies, and a story walk hall combined with math and counting games to help parents give their students a leg up. And dotted around the gym, both historical figures and modern-day celebrities came to life during the annual Wax Museum. Decked out in elaborate costumes, students displayed their knowledge of their character to guests who simply “pressed the button” for a carefully researched lesson.
