GCHS FCCLA placed its first entries into the Junior Culinary category for the KY State Fair this year, with Gracyn Cook taking 2nd place in floral cake design and cupcakes.
Several students also competed in the Life Smarts Challenge and took in the FCCLA Showcase at the Gourmet Gardens with blackberry glazed meatballs and tres leches cake. Bet that gave them some new menu ideas to try back at school!
