A lifelong love of reading has earned two GCHS seniors a perfect 36 in the subject on the ACT college admissions test.
Twins Autumn (left) and Amber Horn took the test on the same date, to hit their perfect score together. Avid readers since childhood, Autumn enjoys science fiction and fantasy novels, Amber prefers history.
While they share several classes this year, they will go separate ways upon graduation. Autumn plans to attend Kentucky Wesleyan to study elementary education, possibly returning to Grayson County to teach 2nd or 3rd grade. Amber plans to explore a career in communications as she continues to consider her college options.
They are the daughters of Rachel Hall and James Horn.
