GCHS Family & Consumer Science (FCS) will be cooking up something new thanks to two recently received grants. The KY Beef Council has awarded funding for the program’s beef curriculum. Additional funding will soon be coming from the Stuff the Bus Foundation of Southern KY. The awards will be used to purchase updated, industry-grade cookware for students to gain real-world experience in methods such as boiling, braising, stewing, sautéing, and frying.
