Grayson County Band has been on a roll!! This past weekend 23 GCHS and GCMS students performed in an outstanding concert during KMEA All-District Band weekend at Campbellsville University.
And word is just in that three GCMS Band students were selected for the KMEA Kentucky All-State Band coming up in March. Congratulations to Nolan Roof, 2nd chair Symphonic Band, Lee Embrey, 2nd chair Concert Band, and Addison Bell, 2nd chair Concert Band.
The GC Winterguard continues their fantastic start to the season, competing in the SCGC Circuit which includes schools from KY, TN, and AL. Varsity finished 2nd out of 9 groups in their first event at Mt. Juliet, TN, with JV in exhibition. Guard took 4th out of 11 groups at Green Hill, also in TN, this past weekend.
