KPREP Testing for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade begins May 10 through May 16. KPREP Testing Tips For Parents: 1. Mark the test days on a calendar so you and your child are both aware of the test dates. 2. Please be sure that your child is at school every day for testing. Children do not fare as well in make-up sessions. 3. Please see that your child gets to school on time. The tests need to be started on time each morning. 4. Make sure that your child eats a healthy breakfast. 5. Please do not schedule appointments, trips, or interruptions during testing. 6. It is important that your child gets a good night’s sleep. If he or she is involved in sports or other after-school activities, try to make sure that the practice sessions are early in the evening. 7. Talk to your child about reading each question carefully, paying attention to directions, and working out the problem when applicable. 8. Encourage your child to do his or her best on tests.
