The success of GCMS 8th Grade Transition Day has put the school and Curriculum Coordinator Tracie Johnston in the state spotlight. Johnston has been invited to speak at the Kentucky School Counselor Association (KSCA) Conference this fall in Lexington. Huge accomplishment for GCMS 7th graders Landon Shiarella and Paul Overton. Both received state recognition for their ACT scores as part of the Duke TIP program. Landon scored a 27 in reading and Paul a 23 in Science, both exceeding the test benchmark. Congratulations!
